Dispatch & scheduling

Turn staffing requirements into confirmed shifts, then reviewed and approved time ready for export.

Complete operations platform

The capabilities presented are part of the MeridCore™ offering and are configured for each organization’s context, permissions and processes.

The business need

An assigned shift is not yet a confirmed shift.

For central or multi-site dispatch, the module separates staffing needs, offers, assignments and actual acceptance. Dispatchers use availability, effective qualifications and configured rules without opening confidential HR records.

Module

From scheduling to time reconciliation.

Build coverage

Create one-off or recurring shifts by role and site. Preview exceptions, time zones and staffing gaps. An unaccepted offer is not counted as confirmed coverage.

Check before assigning

Check overlaps, rest periods, availability, leave and qualifications valid during the shift. Blocks and warnings identify the relevant rule; authorized exceptions retain their justification.

Confirm and replace

Offer open shifts to eligible employees, collect confirmations and handle replacement requests. Responsibility transfers explicitly; a significant shift change may require a new confirmation.

Review time before export

Compare scheduled time, raw punches, corrections and approved time. Unusual punches remain available for review. Export batches are identifiable, and later corrections remain linked to their original batch.

Illustrative example · Operational workflow

A replacement whose qualification is expiring

A night shift needs a replacement. One employee is available, but their permit expires before the shift ends. The configured rule flags the issue; the dispatcher considers another eligible employee, obtains confirmation and preserves the change history.

What to monitor

Measure unfilled shifts, pending confirmations, time corrections and approval delays rather than treating planned work as completed service.

Scope and limits

MeridCore™ prepares payroll and billing data; it does not replace a payroll engine or accounting software. Clock-in location is event-based and conditional, never continuous.
